Sovereign’s Flavor of the month for July is Lychee. This hard exterior fruit has a soft sweet inside that is reminiscent of grape with a hint of rose. The combination of its sweet and subtle tartness means that Lychee pairs well with other fruit. Lychee has a unique and refreshing flavor perfect for any summer beverage or light dessert. Ingredients:

• 1/4 tsp Sovereign Flavors TTB Natural Lychee Flavor
• 2 shots vodka
• 1 shot Black Raspberry liqueur
• Half a lime
• Raspberries
• Lychee – peeled and deseeded

Directions:

1. Muddle Raspberries in a cocktail shaker
2. Add ice and pour in vodka, black raspberry liqueur and lychee flavor
3. Squeeze in half a lime and shake
4. Strain into a glass and garnish with raspberries and lychee
