Follow our construction journey

August 2023:

Over the past few weeks, construction activities have progressed steadily. To kick off the month, the construction team began erecting structural steel columns and installing steel roof joists. They also made progress by installing conduit for light poles and irrigation sleeves.

The momentum continued while the team installed wind bracing, which was securely welded into place. Additionally, perimeter angles were installed above the joists in preparation for the upcoming roof decking.

By the third week of August, significant milestones were achieved. The installation of the joists was successfully completed, accompanied by the final welding of all joists and the proper placement of wind bracing. Another notable achievement was the installation of a gas line by Centerpoint. The team also embarked on preparing the subgrade for paving.

As the construction timeline progresses to 8/28, more significant tasks will be accomplished. The installation of roof decking will be initiated and completed. Furthermore, the temporary braces will be removed from tilt walls, and the installation of the steel joists for the second-floor mezzanine will commence. The team strategically set drains in production areas, preparing for the impending concrete floor pour.

July 2023:

July has been a busy month! Our construction activity included:

* Completed pouring all tilt wall panels
* Poured head walls for the driveway entrance
* Installed north side storm drainage
* Finished conduit install for power company
* Pour in electric transformer pads
* Started erecting tilt walls on the north side of building

June 2023:

We dug trenches for the building footings and grade beams and also installed electrical underground utility. We then poured the concrete footings and grade beams and prepped the building pad for the vapor barrier and rebar.

At 1 am on Tuesday, June 20th, we poured the main slab for the building and the casting beds for the tilt walls. Next, we will be prepping the production area and tote storage building for concrete slab. Finally, we will finish out this month setting the forms on the main slab and casting beds to pour the concrete tilt walls for the building.

May 2023:

We finished grading the building pad and started on the underground electric utility.

The building’s interior underground plumbing was installed and we began digging footing trenches.

April 2023:

In April, we officially broke ground and stripped the top soil down so the construction team could prep the ground for the building pad.

The site utilities, including the storm drain, sewer, water, and fire water, were installed underground.
