Our annual Supplier’s Night and Customer Appreciation event was held on March 8th at Golden Road Brewery in Anaheim, during the week of the Southern California IFT Supplier’s Expo. The event brought together suppliers, customers, and industry experts from across the country, as our way of thanking everyone for their ongoing support and partnership with Sovereign Flavors throughout the years.

We always look forward to hosting this event, and this year was no exception. From the moment guests arrived, the outdoor patio of Golden Road was abuzz with activity, as patrons enjoyed the wide variety of brews and catered bites from the restaurant. Guests also had the opportunity to play corn hole games and take photos in our 360-degree video photo booth.

About two hours into our event, with fun in the air and smiles all around, the lights unexpectedly went out. The only source of light was one small fire pit located in the back of the venue. The blackout seemed to be isolated to just the city block we were on, as we could look across the street to see Angel Stadium lit up like a Christmas Tree. At that point, the beer stopped flowing, but conversations continued in the dark for at least another hour, ​​making for a unique and memorable experience for all who attended.

Despite the unexpected power outage, our annual Supplier’s Night and Customer Appreciation event was a great success. We are already looking forward to next year’s event – and can’t wait to see what surprises it will bring.
