Back to school time is here!! This month we are celebrating the inner kids in all of us with this flashback favorite, Kiwi Blast! Kiwi’s are often overlooked in supermarkets because people don’t understand utilizing its subtle flavors to their full potential. Kiwi’s are a sweet, refreshing fruit; it could be described as a mix of strawberry, banana, and pineapple flavor – That’s why it pairs so well with tropical drinks!

Reverse engineering drinks is something that our chemists love doing, and this month our crew is recreating a childhood favorite. That’s where we drew our inspiration for our flavor of the month to showcase our kiwi flavors in action! Fruit drink pouches are always a winner, no matter the age. Whether you are parched skateboarding, just crushed a gym workout, or want to spice up your cocktails at a tailgate. If you are looking for an adult version of a kiwi beverage, try adding some Kiwi and Lemon to your Bourbon for a tropical southern twist.

Kiwi Blast 

Ingredients: 

• 2 tbsp Kiwi juice 
• ¼ tsp Kiwi flavor 
• ½ cup White grape juice 
• 1 tbsp Lime juice 
• ¼ cup Water 

Directions: 

1. Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and fill with ¾ ice.
2. Mix until chilled, then strain into a glass filled with ice.
